Hi All

 

I have an odd issue. I manage over a dozen sites all with Omada networks. One particular site has this ongoing issue which crops up every Thursday.

Staff who come into the office after 10am (ish) cannot get their wi-fi devices to access the internet. They connect to the SSID but get a no internet warning. They were fine the day before, and it doesn't effect staff who come in early. The only way I can get them online is to reboot the router: TL-ER7206 v1.0

 

I've gone through the settings and cannot find what may be the issue. Any clues or suggestions please.

Try and upgrade router to 1.3.0

There is som dhcp fix

Hi, have to remind you there is also a new firmware of OC300, try and upgrade it either.

thanks for the replies. I've updated both the router and controller on Monday, it is Thursday so fingers crossed. I'll let you know later today!

Also check your memory usage stats on the ER7206 each day...DHCP is often one of the first processes to crash when memory is constrained (at least with the ER605).  You may just be hitting a typical threshold by Thursday of each week.  You can also implement a daily 3AM reboot schedule on the router if you don't want to think about it anymore :)
