ER707 VPN disconnect frequently
All my home network are Omada devices. so far it was working well, until I installed the ER707-M2. I am working at home access to my company VPN server on my desktop PC by wired connection( I did not use any vpn function on ER707 router), it worked well before. But when I installed the ER707, the vpn keeps disconnect and restore frequently. When I hold a meeting on Teams, the network was terrible. Current I setup two Vlans in my home network, one is for smart home devices, the other is for normal using. I check the router setting, did not find any limitation.
Does anybody know what is the problem?
Thanks

Hello @Karyuu,
May I know what is the model number of your original Omada gateway?
Which kind of VPN you are settings on the company desktop PC?
If you use the Cellular networks on your phone and connect to the VPN Server, do you have a similar issue?
Can you ping through the VPN server from the client side when the drops issue happens?

Have you tried the new version 1.1.0, do you have same problem?
I have ordered one myself to test this device so I'm excited to see how the ER707-M2 works

Hi @Starlord_006,
Please confirm whether you have the same VPN-related issue, or your issue is the Router disconnected on the Controller.
Regarding the issues/doubts/suggestions, since they cover different aspects and don't have much to do with the VPN issue in this thread, I'd encourage you click here to start a new thread to elaborate on one issue each time, so that we can stay topic and help you get the answers or solutions quickly, which may also help others who are interested in the topic. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. See you in the forums soon!
