SG108E not obtaining IP from Router
I am running a SG108E in a simple home network setup behind an ASUS AX3000 router (tp-link directed me to business router forum ). However, when set to "DHCP Setting: enable" in the "System > IP Setting" sub-menu the device does not obtain an IP within the same subnet as the router and all other devices.
The router's IP is 192.168.50.1 and it's IP Pool range is set from 192.168.50.2 to 192.168.50.254.
DHCP server is activated of course and about 22 devices in the network obtain their IPs.
So I have set fixed IP for various devices in the router's LAN DHCP settings in ascending order like X.X.50.10, X.X.50.20 etc. which works flawlessly with all devices in the list (Example below) except the SG108.
However, the SG108 seemingly does not accept an IP in the X.X.50.X range.
The switch can't be reached via web browser anymore, just via Easy Smart Configuration Utility which shows the default 192.168.0.1 address.
I know I can set a fixed IP in the switch menu and assign the IP I want.
For now I set "DHCP setting: disable" in the Smart Configuration Utility and manually entered the desired IP like in the router's fixed IP list (192.168.50.50) and default gateway etc., switch shows up in any network scan with this address of course and access via browser works again but I am still curious why the SG108 does not obtain the IP from my router as any other device does.
I did a reboot of both router and switch after each change in settings and a factory reset of the switch of course.
