Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20221104 Rel.41500

I have dual WAN connected, and it simply can't detect my 2nd ISP per picture below:

 

 

I tried everything, from manual, to automatic... on the PORT field also tried everything.

the connection is up, it all works well, but can't make it to detect.

any suggestions?

Check this, they are different features, and the load balancing will be not active if you enable link backup.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo thank you for replying. indeed the link backup was on. turning it off changed the status to online.

i'm not an expert, so I wonder where's the relation between both settings.

 

Also, I have load balance on, so if one of the ISPs drop, will it have the same effect as link backup? 

I'm assuming so, but if you could (or anyone here) clarify, I'll appreciate.
