Omada offering new firmware?

Firmware Version: 5.0.9 Build 20220429 Rel. 43558

Omada Controller is telling me there is an update available for my EAP225, but when I look on the Omada website the latest listed firmware is identical to the firmware in my AP.

That is - I am running "5.0.9 Build 20220429 Rel. 43558", which is what is being offered on the download page. I have checked the websites in a couple of countries and it appears the same on all.

What is the new firmware it is wanting to install?

such an upgrade is pushed by the server. if you don't see it on the website, it could be a delay between the omada server and the website maintenance.

you probably would wait for a release note and user feedback before upgrading any firmware. lol. i always think twice before I upgrade my ios since ios 15. some versions are not as stable as the previous one. same thing goes with the driver on my computers.

I assumed it might be something like that. After the recent issues with the ER605 firmware, I thought I would let other people be the guinea pigs. (Thankyou all) I haven't seen any discussion about impending changes, but I haven't been looking too hard.
