SNMP - ifDescr Doesn't Show Configured Port Name?
I am attempting to pull SNMP Information from Omada configured switches. I can gather basic port counters, but the ifDescr field (as well as ifName) always show the gigabitEthernet 1/0/1 (or other port number, 1/0/2... 1/0/3, etc). As I've gone into the Port configuration on the switch and set a Port Name, I would expect/desire that this shows up in the ifDescr field.
Does anyone know a way for a configured Port Name/Description to be available via SNMP? If not, I'll file a feature enhancement for this.
