I just want to create a tunnel between my Android Device to my homenetwork to have secure access to my NAS.
I have updated today my OC300 to the newest firmware with Wireguard support but iam to stupid to get Wireguard working.
I cant find any information here to make a config "Client - to Site".
Can anyone help me please?

you can use your ddns in your wireguard config file in peer section like this..
Endpoint = my(dot)wireguard(dot)net:51820
- Copy Link

it is not a stupid question, tp-link has made this solution useless because it is so difficult to set up the client, where others have a qrcode or export of a config file, tp-link has no such solution so the config file must be created manually. I've managed to do it, but I probably can't explain further how it should be set up, but there is some documentation that can help you along the way.
here is a thread with some info.

using guidance from tp-link

I hope tp-link makes this wireguard a bit more user friendly soon

Thank you very much.
Yes, i thought I would work like the Openvpn Integration with file export.
But the actual integration is a little bit difficult for noobs like me with Server and Peer Setup;-(
Maybe the config file export will be integrated soon.

Also an open question for me...........
Today iam using OPENVPN with activated DDNS Service and it runs good. (also the poor performance sucks).
When i setup Wireguard - it only accepts classically IP Adresses - no hostnames.
Is there a solution for this case?
Thx

I wish I could help but with my English skills I won't even try and explain :-) but it's an unfinished solution that I haven't even considered using, I just tested for fun.. it's way too complicated to configure. but there is surely someone on the forum who can help you further, possibly tp-link support.

@shberge Note though wireguard client WILL NOT use DNS again once it has established a connection.. IT WILL NOT see the server has changed address unless you reconnect.
