I see that the ER605 has had WireGuard added to its firmware and, as we know, the ER7206 has a superior hardware profile and should not only have no problem running it, but should do so spectacularly since WireGuard is less resource intensive than OpenVPN, which is now supported. Please add WireGuard support to the ER7206 v1.0 / v1.6 ASAP.

Amazingly this feature was just released yesterday and not present on the URL I was seeing with firmwares, however it is available here:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/er7206/v1/#Firmware

One thing I've noticed is that even though the new firmware for the ER7206 (V1_1.3.0ER7206 V1_1.3.0) supports Wireguard, when used in conjunction with the OC300 it does not appear that Wireguard VPN functionality is present.
