Let's Encrypt certificate
Would be nice to have possibilty to use automated Let's Encrypt cert generation and renewal via web interface.

This is a fantastic proposal for reducing the process of creating and renewing Let's Encrypt certificates, as everything would be handled automatically through online interfaces. It has the potential to make the process easier and more accessible, boosting its efficiency and convenience.

This is not whats LetsEncrypt is designed for.
Its designed for externally accessible websites to properly use HTTPS for free. Their model is built around that primary function.
Its not designed for securing access to internal-only devices, this would astronomically inflate their service to something they probably wouldnt support for free.
Its not too hard to use a self signed certificate.
Or just use the cloud based access.

That's _exactly_ what LE was designed for - as you say: "externally accesible"... Even enterprise grade vendors, as Fortinet for example, are providing automation mechanisms for that purpose. The question is if someone wants to externally access the controller admin panel, I can see some security flaws in this case - but not totally disqualifaying. All depends on use case and security awareness of an administrator. Personally, I don't expose controllers to the public and use VPN to access it externally, cloud access is a last resort for me.
