ER7212P vs ER7206 vs ER605 ???
How come ER7212PC has much lower number of concurrent sessions than the cheaper ER7206 or the entry level ER605?
ER7206 - Concurrent Session: 150,000
New Sessions /Second: 5,500
ER605 - Concurrent Session: 150,000
New Sessions /Second: 2,600
ER7212PC - Concurrent Session: 24,980 !!!
New Sessions /Second: 1,900
For what kind of users it is designed?
Thx.

I don't understand about new sessions/second and not sure about concurrent session.
Does concurrent session means number of total devices that is using the same time?
And what does new sessions/second means?

Basically if you want horse power get the 7206...
The 7212 has a built in controller and it uses horsepower. The internal controller has to be used.

@Tedd404 Thank you. That's useful answer.
From question "1206866" on superuser dot com, if one user use the network heavily it can count up to 60 - 100 or peak 250 - 500 this means 1,000 heavy users can use up to 100,000 concurrent sessions. That's a lot but not all users are use that much so it can be supported a lot more users for ER605, ER7206.

a single user may have tons of session.
for example when you watch a video or download a file, that'll take many sessions.
visit a cartoon where tons of pictures require to be downloaded to your browser cache. that also takes lots of sessions as well.
there are not too many continuous sessions. download maybe create multi continuous sessions but will start new after one session is over.
