Model: TL-SG1210MPE
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0_20230219

After I flash the just-released version 2.0_20230219 of the firmware for my switch, it reboots into a recovery mode, that I can only access by accessing 192.168.0.10. There, I can re-upload version 2.0 again, after which the web GUI tells me it's fine, only to reboot back to recovery mode. If I flash version 1.0.0_20210210 of the firmware, downloaded from the same page as the newer version, everything goes back to the way it was before I started the upgrade. Could it be that the new firmware image is bad?

Thank you so much for taking the time to report the issue to our community!

1. Was there any power outage or disconnection from this switch during the update firmware version?
2. Was there a small window pop up saying" upgrade failed" during the upgrade firmware version?

3. Have you tried it with different web broswer?

4. You may backup settings and reset the switch, and try to upgrade the firmware for testing.

Hi @Hank21

1. There was no power outage or disconnection during the update. I also tried twice, with the same result.

2. I did not see an 'upgrade failed' windows or popup.

3. I have only tried this with Chrome.

4. Next, I'll try a factory reset followed by an upgrade. Any browser you would recommend for this? Are there any more logs I can collect somehow?

It looks like the firmware was pulled from https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg1210mpe/v2/#Firmware, I guess that means there is a problem with it? I'll await a new firmware.
