ER605 with DHCP deactivated
hello, I have networked an ER605 load balancer with two Fritzbox routers. All devices have DHCP disabled because there is a windows server on the network. Server and load balancer have segment 192.168.1.x, routers have 192.168.2.x and 192.168.3.x. All devices connected with LAN cable work properly and get IP address from server, while WIFI devices fail to get the address.
Can you help me figure out how to fix it?
Thank you

What's the IP of the Window's DHCP server? You may need to configure some kind of DHCP forwarding if the server isn't in the same broadcast domain (subnet mask). You can also multinet the Windows server ethernet interface to have an IP address on each of the subnets.

Thanks for the reply.
The windows server address is 192.168.1.62/63, the load balancer 192.168.1.254. the subnet equals 255.255.255.0.
the first Fritzbox has the address 192.168.2.254, the second 192.168.3.254, the subnet is always the same.

Ok, the WAN side of things should not affect client DHCP.
Can we assume that the APs and clients all share the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet with the Windows server? If not, what subnet(s) do they belong to?
As a side note, can you explain a bit more why you'd put two IP of the Server on the same subnet (ie if they are different NICs that could make sense).

Yes, the Server has 2 NICs.
APs and Clients subnet is the same as Server and ER605 255.255.255.0

" while WIFI devices fail to get the address."
What are the WiFi devices connected to? If you want your WiFi devices to get IP addresses from that Windows server, you need a WiFi access point on the LAN side of your ER605.

As above, need to look at the L2 architecture, including any switches or VLANs, between your AP and the LAN port of hte ER605.

Thanks for your help. I connected a WIFI access point on the LAN and the mobile devices and laptops got the IP address from the windows server.
