Model: SG2210P
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.20.8

After upgrading the Switch the other day to the latest firmware, i was unable to connect to any SSID's that have been setup on my EAP225 Access Point. I have tried the following to resolve this

  • Reset all devices and re adpot
  • Delete all the VLANs setup on the LAN and assoicated ones on the Access Point
  • Downgrade the switch to the previous firmware

So far the nothing has worked apart from removing the VLAN id from any of the SSIDs so they default to the main LAN. From what i can make out this is down to a bug and that other people have mentioned on here. Does anyone know of any other fix for this at all.

Initially after setting up the VLANs from scratch again, i noticed the switch needed a static ip. So assigned it one and then after this it stopped working again.

Setup is as follows:

  • LAN - 192.168.0.1/24
  • IoT - 192.168.10.1/24
  • Work - 192.168.40.1/24
  • Other - 192.168.30.1/24

The Hardware i have is the following :

ER605 v1.0 - FW : 1.2.1

TL-SG2210P - FW:  3.20.8

EAP225(EU) v3.0 - FW: 5.09

OC200 - Controller - FW: 1.21.7

I have since, repeated the above steps of re-creating the vlans, and all seems to be working again now. I have had no issues so not sure really what was going on. I iwll keep an eye on this and when the next upgrade comes round. If there is any problems i will repost

@PhillipB When you say VLANs not working, did you connect a computer to a switch port that has a profile for a specific VLAN and there was no IP given and no network connection?  Or do you you mean, that when connecting to an SSID that should be assigned to a VLAN, that no IP was given and no network connection?

Are you using a profile that includes the needed VLANs on the switch ports for the router and the AP?  Is the router port set to include the VLANs?

You mention that the switch needed a static IP, is one of your VLANs set as a management VLAN, and that VLAN is different than the default VLAN?
