Hello All

Decided to replace my google nest with Omada series devices to be able to segregate networks.

My setup so far:

internet (fiber) --> (sfp connection) router/vpn ER7206--> wired connection to WiFi AP01 EAP245 <-- mesh wifi connection--> WiFi AP02 EAP245 ---> wired connection to switch tl-sg2008P--> wired connection to LAB server in the basement

Create 4 LAN :

1. secure with Vlan 1 (purpouse : interface) 172.16.171.1/24

2. home with vlan 10 (purpouse : interface) 172.16.172.1/24

3. guest with vlan 20 (purpouse : interface) 172.16.173.1/24

4. iot with vlan 30 (purpouse : interface) 172.16.174.1/24

Created 4 wireless SSID (broadcasting, using all bands on all wifi)

1.sec vlan 1 (getting no IP address from dhcp)

2.home vlan 10 (works fine)

3.guest vlan 20 (getting IP address but no internet, ping outside times out, dns resolution does not work)

4.iot vlan 30 (works fine)

Here is my issue: would like to have internet available for all networks.
There are no ACL in place yet.

Where should I look for clues first ?

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advace!

  @ProSumerTester

Issue is resolved.
sec SSID worked after I removed vlan nr (empty default) from SSID setup.

guest dns worked when I removed forgoten ACL rules, guest SSID is by default set to denied to all other vlans and local dns.

Has the profile been applied to the switch's ports?
Have you set up a management VLAN?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo

How do I check if profile has been applied ?
Come to think of it not sure if that is relevant since both my AP are connected to router before switch is even in play.

By Management you mean a default VLAN (1) ? If so then yes its in place.
