Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.21.7 Build 20221206 Rel.58608

Under Settings / Wireless Network / WLan I can set my wlan networks for all frequencies 2,4/ 5/ 6. Ok done.

If I go to the devices such as an EAP 610 (it can Wifi6) under Devices on the settings, I see there only the setting for 2.4 +5 Ghz networks. Under Cofig Radio and Wlannetze I can also only choose between the old Wlan networks.

If I set a wlan network only to 6Ghz, it does not appear in the device at all.
So I can not use the devices equipped with WiFi 6Ghz in an Omadanetz under this frequency?
What am I doing wrong? Or is there a country lock? Italy / Germany

Thanks for reading

Stefan

  @ColleLupi

Thanks for the quick reply.
Does this mean that this year I bought 20 new Wifi6 "capable" devices ( eg EAP-610 outdoor), but they have no E - designation and therefore do not run on the OMADA OC200 with WiFi6?
On all descriptions, however, this is suggested differently.
Surely a reason to return these devices completely. Let's see what the dealers say about it.

finally understood the difference between WiFi6 and WiFi6E after much reading. Marketing is everything. How to convey that to customers now, why they bought the overpriced devices, is a mystery to me.

Greetings
