Implemented ER7212PC can't assign profiles to switch ports.
Hi,
I have decided to modernize my network with an ER7212PC, 2 additional switches and 2 APs. I already know Unifi, so due to the similarity I thought it shouldn't be a big problem, but already fail at simply assigning a VLAN to the switch port of the ER7212PC.
I already updated the firmware to ER7212PC(UN)_V1_1.0.1 Build 20221106 and did a factory reset.
The switches are still at the post office, so I can currently only test with the ER7212PC.
Under "Devices" I can't find a "Ports" tab on the ER7212PC to assign defined profiles to the individual ports.
So I thought that the profile is set automatically when defining the network via the check mark at the respective interface. I selected the correct ports in the new network "Test"..
..and tried to deselect the ports in the default "LAN" network, but got an error.
Maybe someone can put me on the right track to solve this problem.

It should definitely be possible to assign the PVID!
I have the same problem with the ER7206.
I would like to swap my OC200, ER7206 and 8Port PoE switch for the ER7212 - but as of now it doesn't make sense.
Please let me know if that works and I'll be ready to buy it.

Hey
I'm still struggling to adapt the ER7212PC to my network with no success.
My current setup consists of:
ONT > ER605v2 > TL-SG2218 > 2 x EAP115v4 > EAP110v3 Outdoor + OC200v2
Ultimately, it will be:
ONT > ER7212PC > TL-SG2218 > 2 x EAP115v4 > EAP110v3 Outdoor
I have already reset all devices to factory settings and started setup from the begining.
After the first start and configuration of Omada and entering the login details PPPoE internet
works everywhere. Unfortunately, when I do the adaptation of TL-SG2218 and EAP points
i completely lose internet access on all TL-SG2218 and EAP LAN ports.
Internet works only on all ER7212PC LAN ports.
Unfortunately, I can't handle it. Does anyone know why this is happening?
It looks as if the ER7212PC clashes with the TL-SG2218.
The question is which ER7112PC ports can be used to connect to the TL-SG2218?
I use POE ports 5 to 12.
Maybe that's the problem.

Does anybody using an ER7212PC know or could test if the DNS server is able to resolve local host names?
Mostly that would be DHCP allocations given out by the DHCP server.
The ER605 has the problem that it doesn't, so I was just wondering if this is the same for the ER7212PC?

Would anyone be able to verify below? It appears to be fixed on Valentine's Day 2023.
UPD: PVID is available for ER7212PC in the last beta FW from 14022023

@HGT version ER7212PC(UN)_V1_1.0.3 Build 20230314 seems to include this capability:
"Add support for modifying port PVID."
I updated but clueless on how to this... any tips?

I have installed it and I was able to create "Camera" profile with VLAN 51, enable it for ports LAN5 and LAN6 as seen here
and then assign PVID 51 to those two ports here:
After this and cameras restart, two cameras connected to ports LAN5 and LAN6 become part of this VLAN and subnet 192.168.51.0/24

I'd like to update this feature request here.
The following firmware version has added support for modifying port PVID.
ER7212PC V1_1.0.3 Official Firmware (Released on Mar 21st, 2023)
Please take your time to update the firmware for confirmation.
