Model: OC300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.13.1 Build 20220921 Rel.35923

Hi,

Today after update, OC300 is offline - I think after a very very short online presence after update.

The problem is I'm not at that site (I'm managing it remotely) and even worse, because there are more than 6 motnths since I've installed and I'm managing it via tplink cloud account, I do not find/remember the local router password. BTW, not a very funny way from tplink to launch updates that leave the controller offline !!

What is your advice, considering that there is a problem to reach that site, but I do have access to a local computer via teamviewer?

Thank you,

Costin

  @Dbac

The most straightforward way to locate the problem is to confirm that the local controller is still running properly.

Usually a local reboot or local re-enable Cloud access will solve the problem.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

Yep, that solved the issue, - but it's really uncomfortable to ask non-tech people to open the rack and to stop/start the equipment... maybe a little more attention from tp-link when releasing updates... Thank you,
