Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Tried All Versions Available

OK so I just bought this ER7206 to replace the TL-R600VPN I have been using for a few years now, just to throw it out there I have been building networks for 15 years and am very familiar with TP-Link's setup. I got it hooked up got my internet connections logged in and up and went to change the DHCP IP scheme on the LAN from the default 192.168.0.1 to 10.0.0.1. Once I do this it quits displaying the WAN connections properly and breaks the DHCP menus. It will stop showing any information on either WAN connection and makes it look like all the settings I just entered are gone, it also adds a 3rd wan connection to the menu that wasn't previously set up and the box is not checked for. If I try to enter my information into the WAN menus it does nothing and never connects. I can't look at DHCP client list or address reservations as it just spins and never loads. If I go back into the LAN DHCP settings and change it back to the default 192.168.0.1 everything is back to working normally. I have tried every version of the firmware available, rebooted numerous times, and even tried factory resetting 3 times. Like clockwork, if I change the IP scheme it breaks the WAN settings.  PLEASE HELP!

So I figured out it only happens when I use the 10.0.0.1 scheme, if I use any combo of 10.1.1.x ,10.0.1.x , 192.168.1.1 all work fine, even 10.0.0.2 works fine, but the second I change it to 10.0.0.1 it breaks everything.

is there such a configuration that does not work?

I did a test on an ER7206 here it seems to work without any problems

  @shberge I'm glad it works for you, doing that on mine breaks the router. I can change it to 10.0.0.1 but then the status and settings on my wan connections disappears and it randomly adds a third wan connection that wasn't setup. I also can't access the Lan DHCP client list or address reservation, it just spins and never loads. All is fixed when changing the ip scheme to litterally anything other than 10.0.0.1, even starting it at 10.0.0.2 works fine.

  @Forever1337

is the WAN connected directly to the internet or do they go via another router? which IP has the wan interfaces, the 10.0.0.0 network is commonly used on many routers, so perhaps you have a conflict with one of your WAN interfaces if it is connected to another router.

  @shberge no other routers involved, the ip scheme I'm receiving from the isp's isnt a 10.0.0.0 ip scheme. I have tried every firmware on the site for this unit, firmware change had no affect.
