This is our first TP-Link switch in production so we do not have a lot of experiences with them. But since We have around 25 of switches I thought I could handle it. Most of our switches are UBNT and HP, and we use dedicated vlan to manage switches. That vlan is tagged only on up/down links between switches. UBNTs are managed over controller. On HPs we change IP address and set corresponding management vlan id.

By TL-SG3428x I added our management vlan and then in layer 3/interface, I also added new Interface and set IP address and checked admin mode. I also setup static routing. But what ever I do thet interfaces status is down and I can not access the switch.

How do you manage to do this?
