ER7206 SFP WAN & IPTV Setup
Hey Folks,
I've got an ER7206 setup through Omada Controller V5.5.6.
Internet coming in via SFP WAN. I am unable to configure IPTV in my current configuration as on the selection screen under WAN Port SFP WAN is not in the list. I had this functioning on an ER605 using a media converter and wanted to get rid of the extra piece of hardware so opted to get the ER7206.
Is this an oversight in the software / Omada interface? I am unable to see if the functionality exists in the standalone non controller managed mode as the unit is in place on a very active network.

Have you enabled the SFP WAN port already?
I don't have ER7206 but when I open the Emulator from tp-link website, it can detect the SFP WAN. (the emulator also uses ER7206)

SFP WAN is not in the list of options to choose from. I am using the SFP Wan for internet so I can confirm it is working. Just not showing as an interface to choose from for the IPTV service.
Thanks,
B.

Thank you for your kindly feedback. I will report this issue to our D&R.
May I have a screenshot of your Controller Settings->Wired Network->Internet settings page?
We also have controller version V5.6.3. Could you please try to update the controller?

I updated to 5.6.3 right after I posted the issue and it did not help. See screenshots of configuration. Also screenshot of Device status so you can see it is actually connected via SFP WAN and WAN.

@BrnM I noticed this too. And I found the Network > Switch function which in Standalone UI, SFP port is also not supported (only port 1/2/3/4/5). I guess it has something to do with design, maybe the SFP chipset doesn't support it or something else
