New to Omada from Unifi, was wondering if the following features would be considered for addition to the software controller:

  • vendor MAC address lookup / matching - would be handy to identify a device at a glance
  • ability to plug in a DNS server for auto DNS lookups for clients. the IP addresses are detected, would be awesome of you could specify a DNS server within Omada for it to look up client hostnames

Vendor MAC addressing would be a welcome addition, save a lot of time looking up MAC addresses to identify devices!

 

Also the ability to change the icons for the clients manually, even if just to the basic  PRINTER, PHONE, TABLET etc..  90% at the moment just appears as 3 dots which is a tad hard on my OCD :)
