Hello,

 

I just bought some EAP 650, can anyone confirm how i can confirm the region for the APs and whether i should have received a UK region or other EU region AP being in the UK.

Hey

 

The region is usually printed on the box around the model number on back.   It will say in (EU) or something like that

 

In answer to your question, UK gets the EU versions of the hardware (provided you bought it in the UK and not imported), im also UK

OK thanks for confirming, reason for asking is i noticed the AP has no UNII-3 channels which is now approved for the UK.

Yeah my 245 and 265 dont have them either, likely as not all EU countries support them so it just allows the default that suits all.
