Hi,

 

The newer iOS & Android versions have stopped supporting L2TP & IPsec protocols citing security issues. Is there a way to make IKEv2/IPsec work on this router.

Sorry that TL-ER6120 doesn't support IKEv2, but the Omada Router ER605/ER7206 has added support for IKEv2, and here is a guide for your reference. How to connect to Omada Router using IKEv2 VPN of Android/iOS

Sorry that there is no plan to add IKEv2 support on the TL-ER6120. Actually the TL-ER6120 product has been discontinued, which means that unless the system is part of a security or bug patch there will not be further firmware developed for it.
