EAP650 dropping IPv6 traffic
I have an EAP650 AP and an EAP245 AP. Both APs are connected to the same switch, have the same trunk (port profile) settings, the same WLAN and VLAN settings, pretty much everything is the same. Clients roam between the two APs and use both IPv4 and IPv6.
When clients connect to the EAP245 IPv4 and IPv6 traffic is working as expected, however, when clients connect via the EAP650 AP, all IPv6 traffic is dropped and I can't work out why!?! I have ruled out any issues with the router, VLANs, or WLAN configuration - everything is the same (other than the model of the APs and the physical port they are connected to on the switch).
I have also tried the latest Beta firmware for the EAP650, but it doesn't fix the issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Since it looks like it's going to be months before they release this, can you tell me how you went about opening a ticket on this particular issue so I can do the same?
Thanks!
BTW, firmware 1.0.6 was released a few days ago, https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap650/v1/#Firmware
I haven't installed it yet so I don't know if it includes a fix for the issue in this thread.
It does not fix the issue.

I officially opened a ticket for the same problem on the EAP670...apparently they had no idea.

Just a general follow-up, I received a beta version for the EAP670 today and tested with packet trace and the problem seems resolved.

Great news. I put in a ticket the other day and they told me they were testing and recommended to not use IPV6 in the meantime (which isnt possible in my setup).

So the actual firmware v1.0.6 doesn't solve the issue, but the new beta firmware? Timestamp of v.1.0.6 is newer than your posted beta timestamp?!
kinda confusing...

So far so good here. IPV6 addresses picked up almost immediately on my EAP670. I had an issue in the past where a Raspberry Pi connected to the same device on a different VLAN wouldnt hold an SSH connection either. It looks like this update also fixes that bug.
