Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: V2_2.0.1 Build 20220223

Good day.

I am asking for help in configuring the TP-LINK TL-R605 V2 router I have access to the Internet via fiber optic cable by Orange Polska along with their ONTs.

ONT is connected to R605 with RJ45 cable, then R605 is connected to TL-SG2216 switch Everything works very well, but I have a small problem that cannot be avoided. Namely, two sets of HikVision IP video intercoms do not allow for two-way audio communication if we want to receive an incoming call from the doorphone outside the Lan home network in which the video intercom works, e.g. via the GSM network.

I will add that the problem does not occur if I have an optical fiber connected to FunBox 6 (ONT and Router in one) from Orange.

Unfortunately, due to the structure of the network, I am forced to use solutions that are not possible with FunBox, i.e. WATERPROOF.

I am asking for help on how to find the culprit of my problem.

It is definitely R605, unfortunately the experts from HikVision died just like those from Orange.

Sorry for my English but I am using the Translator.

@btx Thank you for the quick reply. Try to describe my network topology in more detail today and include it in the topic. Previously, I also used the V1 R605 version which I replaced with a newer version. Today I am also receiving the OC200 which I will be configuring with my network.

@sadaman I'm not very good at it, but I tried to sketch a little more how does my network look like.

In photo number 1, where the sharing device is FunBox 6 Orange optical fiber, there is no problem.

Everything works as it should. I am able to make / receive incoming calls from KIS604 sets being at home and away from home, using another foreign WiFi or GSM network. However, the configuration with FunBox 6 does not suit me because it does not allow creating a VLAN.

Therefore, on a daily basis I use the configuration as in the picture number 2 where the addressing device is TP-Link TL-R605 V2.

As I wrote yesterday, everything works fine here too, except for two sets KIS604. In the home network 192.168.10.xxx behave correctly,

while from a foreign WiFi or GSM network I cannot establish two-way communication, I only have a Video preview. Therefore,

I believe that the culprit is R605 which is blocking some ports etc.

That is why I am looking for a solution that can be checked, changed and improved.

Before that, I also used the R605 V1 and it was the same.

Please, give me some hints and advice.

Regards

@sadaman I am using the configuration from photo number 2.

It seems to me that I can not check if UPNP on the ONT is turned on because I cannot log in to it, it is transparent, i.e. it changes only a signal from light to electric.

The ONT also has no firewall - Login is done using R605.

Where can I find UPNP in R605?

I should enter the ports in the tab: TRANSMISSION> Virtual Servers?

Support from HikVision sent me info about ports that are supposedly used.

@sadaman My R605 gets a different address each time I log back into the service: 83.10.xxx.xxx, 178.43.xx.xxx

I also introduced all the ports in the Virtual Servers tab, unfortunately it did not work.

I still can't get two-way communication.

But one thing puzzles me.

In the list of ports in the last position there is an entry 12001: 14000, it seems to me that this is the range from - to including the range of 1999 possible ports.

How to enter as many ports?

I had the UPNP on the R605 turned off.

After turning it on temporarily, nothing has improved either.

@sadaman Well, I entered the ports and unfortunately it failed.

There's still some kind of hook that's causing the problem.

I will try to enter this data from the level of the OC200 controller that I just connected, and I already have another problem, very often I have some "LARGE PING" attacks as shown in the attached picture, and the internet stops working.

What can it be and is there any way to do it?

Before, nothing like this happened to me on the R605.
