I've been looking for information about the mounting centres for the EAP615 Wall. I'm aware that it is designed for EU and US standard 86mm wall boxes but not to sure what are the mounting centres. I have found on the internet some dimensions for EU wall boxes and they have 60mm (60.3mm) mounting centres. Would I be safe in assuming that the EAP615 wall units have 60mm mounting centres?

Yes, EU wall boxes have 60 mm mounting centres (just like the 86 mm US wall boxes). The EAP615 comes with a bracket that accomodates 60 mm mounting centres and the EAP is installed by sliding it onto this bracket (see e.g. https://static.tp-link.com/2021/202105/20210518/7106509233_EAP225-Wall(EU)_IG.pdf)

Australian mounting brackets have 84mm fixing centres. This make it awkward to use for mounting the EAP615-Wall units.

In Australia there are EU stud brackets available which have 63 mm centres you can find these brackets and their dimensions at the Luminous EU stud brackets website. Regards krafted
