Eap225-Outdoor as LAN bridge

I've successfully mesh connected one Eap225-Outdoor to another one, then used the empty ethernet port on the first one to bring wired connection inside the building, and everything worked fine. There's a problem: every time, for any reason, the mesh connection fails, the eap225 disappear from the controller and uses the destination Lan as uplink instead the mesh one. Is it possible to force the eap to use the mesh uplink instead the wired one?
As now the only option to reconnect the eap is to disconnect the Lan, readopt the isolated eap from the controller, plug the Lan again.

normally it should work well with auto, but I had a case where the controller was on the wrong side of the mesh and it caused some problems for me, then I had to set the detection ip to the controller, but it shouldn't be necessary if you have a router and a controller on the same side of the mesh.
you must remember that when you make changes, both access points must be online to get the new settings.

I don't have a complete overview from your explanation, but I suspect that the controller is on the wrong side of the mesh, the easiest thing is to have the controller on the same side of the mesh as the router, it is possible to have the controller on the opposite side of the router but then it will be more complicated.
then Connectivity Detection must be changed to an IP that is on the opposite side of the mesh in relation to the router.
you can optionally use controller IP as detection IP if it is as suspected..

LAN - - >Eap225-Outdoor (Wired) - - mesh-->Eap225-Outdoor(Mesh) --ethernet-->PC
I'm trying to connect a PC to the empty ethernet port of the Eap(Mesh).
When the mesh connection fails the Eap use the PC as an uplink instead of the mesh resulting in obviously no connection to the PC neither to the Eap(Mesh) wifi.
There's a configuration to force mesh even when ethernet plugged?

@shberge Setting the custom ip in Connectivity detection to the controller solved my problem.
