PoE LED not lit
I have a Gigabit PoE++ model TL-POE170S. The LED for the PoE output port is not lit. I'm trying to power and connect to an outdoor access point EAP225-Outdoor. I tried switching to a second PoE injector that I know works, but the LED on the working injector also goes off once connected.
What could be causing the LED to turn off?

TL-POE170S and EAP225-Outdoor both support 802.3af/at and are compatible, so normally there is no problem, try different cables to test.

I had a similar issue with an EAP225 Outdoor and the supplied PoE injector: the injector works with other EAPs, the LED is lit. Connecting the EAP225 Outdoor extinguished the LED on the injector (comes back after unplugging the EAP). No indicator LEDs came on in the EAP225 Outdoor. I ended up returning the EAP for a refund.

Thanks for taking the time to report the issue to our community!
TL-POE170S is incompatible with EAP225-Outdoor. To power up this EAP, TL-POE160S is recommended to use.
You can see these information on the offical website about Overview of TL-POE170S.
