EAP610 v2 2.4GHz difficulties

I just upgraded from the EAP245 v1 to the new EAP610 v2 and the 2.4GHz wifi is causing me an absolute headache. I have a Dell laptop running Win10 that connected perfectly fine to the EAP245's 2.4GHz wifi, but now that I've switched to the EAP610 it doesn't even see the SSID being broadcast by the EAP610. My security settings are identical to what I have configured on the EAP245. I thought maybe the Wifi NIC might have gone bad but I can see other 2.4GHz networks and when I plug in the old EAP245 it shows up right away. I have tried resetting the network adapter as well as deleting it and reinstalling it.
Anyone else encountering/encountered an issue like this?
