Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: in future firmware

After upgrading from TL-R470T+ most owners got in trouble when realized that in R605 the VLANs are interconnected by default and as a – sometimes cumbersome – work-around you must create ACL rules to avoid inter-vlan traffic, e.g. in a common scenario when you want to provide internet access to all devices in different vlans that are isolated from each other.

Following a similar solution by TP-Link in Easy Smart Switches that have an easily and quickly achievable feature (Multi-Unit Tenant VLAN) to isolate traffic between its ports,

I would really like to have this one tick option on ER605 in standalone mode. (Of course in this case – differently from the easy smart switches – still maintaining the 802.1Q functionality.)

Especially after the unfortunate bug in the latest firmware release v1.2.0, it shows the importance of this feature for many owners.
