ER605 suddenly disconnect from omada controller but still working
I maked a setup for a office clients, it is start to run 25 day ago, once a week I check the network status remotly to see how everithing it is working. For my sorprise, I saw the ER605 disconnected. Obiously if the router was off, I would not have internet becouse my ISP is connected there.
I didn't reset the router becouse im far of the office, and system still working.
Does anyone have a problem like this?
If i reboot router manually and it works again, do I need make a reboot schedule?
Thank you.

@Dustiebin Time for the big reset of your router...as long as you have your OC200 setup you will be able to add the router back and it will reload the config from the OC200. Zero touch provisioning does work with these devices when it works. As long as you are able to logon to Omada that is and see your devices. except for the router you should be fine to reset it and readopt.

Many thanks. Will give that a go now.
Can get to my controller so fingers crossed should be good.

@Dustiebin now go set up a weekly reboot schedule on the OC200 for your router so this doesn't happen again! Monthly is too long a gap, so I go at 3am every Monday..this has been working at my second site for many months now (it's on an OC200, not a soft controller). Glad this worked out ok for you.

Flagging that I see this too. ER605 V1 on the latest beta firmware disconnects approx once a month.
In that state, the LAN works fine but the WAN fails.
Yesterday evening was the latest occurrence. Twitch was having outages at the same time my ER605 disconnected. Might just be a very weird coincidence, but worth mentioning as I see the disheartening utterance of "can't replicate this issue to triage" when it seems to be as simple as leaving the box on for a month in an average setup.
Is there a way to get more verbose logging to help out?
Issue:
ER605 V1 showing as either "Missed Heartbeat" or "Disconnected" approx once a month.
In this state, the WAN stops responding entirely but the LAN works as expected. I can ping other machines on my network but can't ping out.
The software controller that states the ER605 is disconnected is patched directly through the ER605 so it isn't disconnected, but it isn't functioning as expected.
Waiting a reasonable amount of time, the ER605 is not found automatically. Instead it needs rebooting, by pulling the cable out the back of the box.
I've performed a full reset with a pen in the button on the box and re-provisioned it from zero to no avail.
Expectation:
The ER605 doesn't disconnect unexpectedly.
Environment:
ER605 acting as a router. Hooked to a TL-SG2008P v3.0 and 2 x EAP265 HD(EU) v1.0 The three other Omada gizmos are unaffected and stay connected.
ER605 V1 is running FW 1.2.2 Build 20221015 Rel.34612
Omada Controller is on the mbentley Docker image on a Synology hooked straight to the ER605.
The ER605 is hooked to a BT Openreach modem. ADSL. I'm on Vodafone, was on BT as a provider.

@Raboon I have exactly the same issue. My ER605 is connected to a Centurylink modem on WAN1 and a Comcast modem on WAN2. Approximately every month the ER605 becomes unresponsive and I lose WAN access. A power-cycle of the ER605 solves the issue, but this is unacceptable because I have to be physically present to power-cycle it. If I'm traveling or out of the office, I can't perform the power-cycle.

I use the following approach (a pic being worth a thousand words or so..). This is via an Omada soft controller, under Services, but the standalone UI will have something similar:
You do have to reboot weekly as monthly won't cut it...typically the failure occurs between 21 and 22 days after the previous reset.

Hello,
I also have a problem. The router disconnects from the Omada controller but the internet is still on.
It repeats every few hours/days
My controller is Debian 11 and Omada 5.9.31 on a LAN with network devices.
Router: ER605 V2.0 2.1.2
I have now set the router reboot schedule to once a week.
I will watch to see if the problem changes.
