TL-R600VPN: No SHA2 availiable, only insecure SHA1 ?
Hello,
do i see this right: the TL-R600VPN has no SHA2 implementation for VPN, only SHA1 (which ist insecure)?
Do i have to change the router model? Does TL-R605 support SHA2 ?
Regards, Micky

If you check its Datasheet, you could find that ER605 V2 supports SHA2.

Search the model ER605 and choose hardware version 2. ER605(UN)_V2_Datasheet
Note: So far, SHA2 is supported on ER605 V2 only in Standalone mode.

@Micky_Roth I took a good look at the crypto support on my ER7206 and is second to third rate, lack of sha2 is the tip of iceberg..l I strongly advice you not to use them for VPN. instead setup a VPN server on an specialized computer behind it, providing wireguard for most clients and openvpn for legacy devices that cannot be changes/updated
