Model: EAP660 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: EAP660HD(EU)_V1_1.1.0 Build 20211027

Hello,

I cannot find how I can replace the self-signed security certificate used by the device by a corporate certificate?

Thank you in advance.

  @kraal

Just a little confused as to why you want to change it like that?
Is there a risk alert when accessing the EAP?
Can I know exactly what the error reporting looks like?

  @Virgo yes there is a risk alert... the certificate is self signed and using SHA-1 for hashing.

  @kraal

It looks like you've moved all the settings to the controller, so I think you should be able to upload the certificate now.
If it's a standalone case, as far as I know, there's no way to do that.

Yes I finally moved to the controller. I'm not sure yet if it is worth it (as the EAP is the only TP-Link device I own). Anyway, I could import certificate for the controller. It wasn't straightforward though... took some time to understand that "PEM" format means for TP-Link "PEM content" AND ".pem file extension" (meaning that a PEM certificate in a ".crt" file, as XCA generates them, is not understood by the controller...)

The issue / request remains valid for people not using the controller.

I removed the "recommended solution" set by an administrator as it does not answer the question. The question was how to changethe self signed certificate of the EAP660 HD not how to change the certificate of an OMADA controller.
