Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.07

Hi smiley

We have 4 EAP's dotted around the outskirts of our property and we provide free internet to our neighbours. I turn the Omada Controller software (v4.4.3) off and on to monitor usage etc and change settings if I need to.

We have two neighbours (the scumbags) who constantly obstruct the road with their vehicles. To discourage this activity I would like to temporarily disable 2 of our EAPs and then reactivate them at midnight or sometime the next day.

I couldn't see an easy way to do this using Omada Controller, I don't want to interfere with the power etc, so I just limit the number of associated clients to 1 (the min) on each of the devices and reboot them.

Is there a better or more effective way to do this?

Any ideas on easier way to manage this situation... I don't really want to start maintaining ACLists coz people here change their phones all the time...?

Thanks

  @Bebe1980

Another way is to create a wlan group with no SSID.

then you can change wlan group in your access point config page. easier than move access point to another site.

 Hi @Bebe1980

Create a new "Site" on the controller and move these two APs into new site;

Then do the Wireless settings with WLAN Schedule, to disable the wireless radio every night.

Thanks  @Hank21

Looks good - guess I could use Parking Violation as the SSID too!

I will have 3 sites in total - the default which I don't use

The Garden - for fully functional EAPs

DisabledEAPs - for offending EAPs

Just to make sure I understand you correctly... I use the Device->Config->Manage Device menu option to move

the offending EAPs to my second site DisabledEAPs where I've set up the more restricted wifi...?

And then just move them back again later to "The Garden" fully functional site?

Right. This seems to be more easier.
