Name:

Tp-Link TL-SF1006P 6-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop PoE Switch with 4-Port PoE+

Hello guys!

I'm planning to buy the above item. Currently I have 4 POE device(3 CPE710 and 1 CPE510), each of my devices have their own TP-Link TL-POE2412G PoE Adapters.

Can I use the above product to replace my TP-Link TL-POE2412G PoE Adapters? Will that work?

Thank you :)

Hi  @Mellx1

No it won't work.

TL-POE2412G PoE Adapter is only for Passive PoE devices, 24V.

TL-SF1006P is for standard PoE.

They are not the same thing.

  @Mellx1

Thank you for the reply

I already order the product and its on the way! lol. I didn't wait for your reply before ordering

This is the image from their product page, so I just assume that it can power up my CPE's, OC200 or maybe my EAP's. I also assumed the word "POE+" in the products that TL-SF1006P is not standard POE, i'm wrong?

EDIT: What happen if I plug my router or switch to POE+ ports?

EDIT2: Maybe this is the right product for me? Can you confirm>?
