Tl-wa5210g vs tl-wa7210n

Region : India

Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :

Hello all,
my main focus is long range (3-4 KMs) connectivity (directional ) with high speed data transfer.
I am interested in buying outdoor CPE for long range data transfer and was wondering which one is better.
TL-WA5210G or TL-WA7210N
(I know the model 7210n is not available in my country but i can arrange it from other sources.)
as both works in 2.4 GHz.
whats the difference in the both products ?
is one of them is better for long range ? data transfer and connectivity ?
which one has high Tx power for transmission ?
i have already bought TL-ANT2424B for more directional use.
Thanks for your time.

look yourself, click on top Tp-Link Home/Support/third line/Tp.Link Emulators, select 5110 to see 5210 and selext 7210, and you gonna see the dif. or click here
http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/emulators/
You should care for
1-do you have LOS (line of sight) can you see point B from point A,
2-your Freznel Zone is clear check this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfPUf9510NI
3-are you able to use 5Ghz band in your country Radio 7510, norrower freznel zone, lower noise, no traffic, are there trees in path, trees kill 5Ghz band
4-Distance of your PTP (point to point) or Link, you posted, (3-4 KMs) there is no such a distance, either is 3 or 4 or between, Google Maps to check real distance. of ptp.

Thanks for your reply, i really appreciate it as nobody on their technical team knows which works best.
1) dont have line of sight , thats why i am choosing 2.4 GHz. rather than 5GHz.
2)looking in to that.
3)no issues about traffic as i am in village area and there is no wifi in near about 20 KMs radius, there are trees in path.so no 5GHz band.
4) Cant determine actual distance in both points as no google maps service in here, cant zoom to see my points, i hope you get the idea. but approximate would be 3 KMs.
i checked the 7210n emulator and noticed its very advanced, but i am looking for a product with higher Tx power.
i can use non certified products too if they support high Tx power .
thanks
edit: google maps service looks upgraded , checking distance now.
edit: distance is 2.25 kilometers N (7°)

NLOS penetration is dependent on two main items: type of Fresnel Zone obstruction (trees act different than building and mountains) -and- frequency of operation.

Fresnel Zone is not clear there is a level difference in point A and point B so there are trees and slight mountain might come in the Fresnel Zone .
Thanks

whay ever i link you to, or you read on the web wi-fi forums, says some links cant be done, i made a test (for fun) from my home to my daughter apartment, what ever i read on wi-fi forums, the answer was, no link.
lower freznel zone all blocked,
distance 778 mts. up hill,
from point A first 8mts. two buildings on left and right, only opening to LOS 3 mts.
further another building blocking lower Freznel Zone,
on point B, tested my iPhone 4S on balcony no problems downloading and uploading wi-fi, see picture.
Hardware, one 5210 ver , set on Vertical polarization as default and a iPhone 4S
My point, testing its the only true answer, to your Q, i know your situation its NLOS, Google PtMP (point to multi point), and passive Repeaters.

Thanks , i am gonna try with 7210 first and then adding extrenal directional antenna. or in worst case scenario another 7210 at the receiver end.
thanks for your time., ill post my results here.

mmm. you got it wrong, i was just making a point, on how wi-fi behaves on post 6
you posted, NLOS, before all you need LOS, once that is solved by tower or passive repeater or PtMP
with LOS, all you need 2 CPEs 7210m to create a PTP, one AP the other Client, .
test, if needed, add antenna TL-ANT2424B

okie., at first i am gonna try with one 7210 then with antenna then, 2 - 7210 at both ends, need to place higher for LOS.
thanks

you are going the wrong way, its
1-two 7210, CPEs work way better for your distance, you will need no more, in case need it.
2-add antenna TL-ANT2424B to AP side.
surf into the forum, there are post of no sucess after adding antenna to 5210, why, guess yourself.
7210 its exactly the same radio plus a low noise amp.

i am thinking by the economic way.as i already have TL-ANT2424B lying around and in here they dont take the product back. so if i buy 2 7210 and only one is capable of providing signal then no use of second 7210 and will have to sell it at lower price.
so ill go by step by step.
and if you say 7210 has the same radio then ill choose the 5210 instead of 7210
i read many topics and noticed 5210 + external antenna dont work , but some says it works after changing settings.
so gonna try it out.
tp-link doesnt have stock of 5210 , so i have 4-5 more days to decide 5210 or 7210.
Thanks
