The Website ( https://community.tp-link.com/ ) Doesn't Save the Log-In for some reason
Hi
Everytime I come here, to https://community.tp-link.com/
the website remembers my Username (Email Address),
but I do have to re-enter my Password in order to log-in,
that's despite the fact that I checked the "Remember Me" Checkbox at the bottom of the log-in form..
It even happens If I close the browser, and come back after 1 minute..
It simply doesn't remember me.
It would be nice If the person responsible for the website, can change this,
to spare the need to enter the Password so many times, even tho I come back from the same computer, same browser, and even on the same day..
Thank you

Thank you for your valued feedback!
May I know which web browser (such as Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) you are using when you visit https://community.tp-link.com/?
Would you have the same issue with other website? Did you try with another web browser for checking?

Hi Fae
I am using Firefox.
On other websites I don't have this problem, If I had then I would not raise this issue here,
since it would mean the problem is on my side, not on the website..
I do not have another browser - I only use one.

What's the version of your Firefox? (you may check it under Help -> About Firefox)
Running Firefox 97.0 (64-bit) on Windows PC, I don't have such issue with the website (https://community.tp-link.com/), it saved and auto-login with my account correctly.
Besides, please refer to the guide below to check whether the website (https://community.tp-link.com/) is listed there.

You may also refer to the following thread for the solution and verify if it can fix the issue you encountered.

Hi Fae
I am using Firefox 52.9.0 (32-bit).
This is the last version that is available for Windows XP.
Windows XP users cannot update beyond that.
Regarding this solution:

Please note that what you're refering to is a completely different subject than what I raised.
I raised the issue of the website not remembering me, (since it should use a Cookie, when I click the "Remember Me" checkbox in the login form),
and what you suggested is Browser saving Usernames and Passwords for websites..
You are refering to a different matter,
which is not the problem I raised..

How do I get my computer to remember login?
Password saving is turned on by default in Internet Explorer, but here's how to turn it on or off:
- In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.
- On the Content tab, under AutoComplete, select Settings.
- Select the User names and passwords on forms check box, and then select OK.

Willjoe

When you visit a website that requires you to sign in to your account—like an email, banking, or shopping site—Internet Explorer will ask if you want your user name and password remembered. The next time you visit the site and start entering your user name, Internet Explorer will finish filling in your account info.
