Greetings gentlemen

have a question

at the moment I have 3 wired points connected

bought another one and added it as a mesh connection

but already for 4 weeks I have not seen a single client connected

although it seems like there should be a lot of them

This is a common issue that people encounter.

 

Basically, you are using a v3 controller (SDN v3.x.x) and the new AP comes with a firmware for the later v4+ SDN.   When running the wrong AP firmware for the wrong controller it wont display client data..

 

You would be best to downgrade the firmware of the new AP from 5.0.4 to 1.7

Other option is to upgrade the controller to v5.0.30 (newest) and then update the other APs to firmware 5.0.4.    SDN v3.x.x is no longer supported at this stage
