Setting up a MGMT VLAN
Hello all,
I am trying to setup a mgmt vlan for a network which currently consists of 3x outdoor 225 eaps, 1x ER605, 1x OC200, 2xTL-SG1005P V2 switches, and 1x poe injector. With the current setup is it possible to have the eaps in a mgmt vlan or is it impossible since the switches they are connected to are dumb. I have heard in the past PoE injectors drop vlan tags in general as well. I do also have a wireless ssid tagged with the mgmt vlan setup and being broadcast by the eaps as well it is currently set to not broadcast the ssid. Guess the big question is how possible is this to accomplish with current equipment without using managed switches.
