I'm looking at using an Omada system for home wifi with a combination of EAP225 and EAP235 in different rooms, connected to the ER601.

 

Can I get downlink speeds over wifi of >500 Mbps from these access points? Or do I need to go to WiFi 6 devices to get speeds closer to gigabit?

Yes, you can but only on 5GHz and with clients with at least 2x2 MIMO. I am using EAP225 AP with no problem to getting speeds over 500MBit.

Thanks for the info! This is for iPhone (2x2 MIMO) and iPad Air (maybe not 2x2).
