It's been almost a year, and still EAP620 (hardware version 1) hasn't been updated to fix this issue. While all other hardware revisions of EAP620 have received updates.
Could you please update this device? Last update was on 2021-12-01. "EAP620 1.1.0 Build 20211028 Rel. 68287(5553)"
I'm extremely disappointed with this AP. I bought it on the assumption TP-Link supported their products. I guess I was wrong.

Agree with you. bugfixes is only beta for ever and they upgrade with new functions on the controller but do not follow up with device firmware, this applies to Router, Switch and EAP
The EAP620HDv1 also does not support PPSK or other new future the last year.

Agree. Looks like they're waiting on WiFi7 release and then everything is WiFi7 and old models (like most of the time) don't get any updates.
They need to ramp up their R&D team! Nothing new.

yes it's very very bad, now almost everything is beta
I have beta firmware on ER605v1, ER605v2, EAP653, EAP670, EAP620HDv1, other device is not updated for a long time.
There was an update to ER7206 now, but of course it had errors on S2S VPN and SHA2, so there are always some bugs too.
New functions in the controller are also not followed up on the devices at all.
