In fact, the Disconnect status means that the router and controller are unable to communicate with each other.
To better assist you, may I know what's the physical connection(current topology) of your all devices?(You can draw a diagram of Network Topology simply if you don't mind.)
It would also be a good idea to provide the IP addresses of all the devices.

Can you ping through the router's IP address on the computer where the controller is installed?

Please try to use your PC which is installed the controller to ping the router's IP address. just to check whether can ping through.

You can try to close the firewall and anti-virus software to test.
