Omada controller 5 for Linux
Omada controller 5 for Linux
I noticed Omada Controller 5 has been available for download for a few days now for Windows, any idea when the Linux version will be out? Also the android app doesnt seem to have been updated with compatability yet.

1 or 2 weeks delay between versions is common.
I bet there will be a new Linux version before the end of the week.

And still waiting...
I would assume an update from 4.x to 5.x is significant and therefore not just nice to have or solving issues on 1 platform only.
So i'm wondering why it is taking so long?

Now that it's been 3 weeks should we assume the Linux controller has been discontinued, or just that there isnt anyone from TPLink actually on these forums?

I do not think so, because of HW controllers OC200 and OC300 are also linux based.

Can somebody send me the files from a windows installation? Then it should not be too hard to port it to Linux, because it is just java.
Unfortunately, I do not have a windows installation and cannot do this.

Don't rush. Some of us are experiencing a non-solvable provisioning/adoption loop on the Nov 1st 5.0.15 Windows release.
Clearly they must have found a few more bugs on top of that one.
