Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20210723 Rel.64359

The ER7206 traffic statistics for the WAN interfaces samples data at a very low rate (every 10 secounds i think). Both in the Router Interface and on the SMNP oids for the given interfaces.

This is way to low to have a meaningfull realtime traffic monitoring. I upgraded from an older TP Link model which sampled the traffic every second. Are there any plans to change this? This is somewhat important to me, so If there are no plans on changing that, It would be of great help for me to know, as I can look for another solution.

As it turns out SNMP is broken in more ways then just the poll rate. There is only 2 traffic counters on the standard interfaces oid, namely 19 and 20, one of those two is the LAN port (i assume the 20). I have 3 WAN ports active, they don't show up or the traffic is not counted.

Another issue (has been noted in the forums allready) that the set community is gone since the last 2 firmeware updates.

I conclude that the ER7206 isn't quite ready for business use.

The Current Firmware fixes the issue of not being able to adress the different WAN ports (1.2.0 Build 20220117 Rel.74491) The issue of a 10 second poll rate remains. Is there a performance reason for this or just an oversight ? Maybe it could be an option, so I could set it to 1 second ? Please respond.
