LAN connection loses speed rapidly
Region : India
Model : TL-SF1008D
Hardware Version : V7
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi,
I have four SF1008D switches in my network and I am facing
one problem.
The ADSL modem is connected to one of SF1008D switch(1) and
there is a cable from this switch to another SF1008D switch(2).
Problem is when my desktop(linux) is connected to the switch2
the internet speed is pathetic , just 1 or 2 Kb/s. But if I take
the cable from switch1->switch2 and connect it directly to the
linux desktop then the speed is good. I have checked
the cables and all connections but no clues.
What I noticed is that in the first case (when the desktop is
connected through switch2) some times the connection starts
off with good speed but rapidly slows down to 1 or 2 Kb/s
Any pointers ?
thanks
