Hi

 

I recently purchased 2x CPE510's via Take A Lot. The 1st one I managed to access and configure without any issues. The second one, however, I cannot access at all:

 - Lan and Power LED's are burning

- I can default / reset the unit via both default buttons on unit itself, and on POE adaptor

 - I can ping my own Ethernet address  (192.168.0.9)

 -- but when i ping 192.168.0.254, i get " ....destination host unreachable"

 - it is not showing in my arp table

 - I swapped all cables , POE adaptor, even tried another laptop to connect

 

All of the above works fine on the "first" unit.

 

Please help

Did you try accessing the second CPE via Ethernet connection and static IP? If you connect your laptop wirelessly, you may experience IP conflict because both CPE have the same default IP as 192.168.0.254.

Yes, I used an Ethernet cable with static IP (for both)

You can change one of the CPE to 192.168.0.253 to avoid IP conflict.

Hi

 

I have only one device active at a time. The other unit is powered down ro eliminate duplicate iip address issues. I also tried 2 separate laptops to eliminate potential ARP issues

When you connect the laptop to the LAN port of POE, can you see the LAN light on the CPE come on? Check if all physical connections are good. Try shorter cables.
