EAP110 v2 incompatible with Omada SDN controller
Hello. I have installed several TP-Link access points in a hotel. Many of them are EAP110 v4 and others are EAP110 v2.
Several months ago i have also installed a hardware controller OC-200 which expands network options and capabilities.
I have recently realized that Omada Controller SDN 4.3.5 platform (on OC200) discovers but does not support EAP110 v2, while EAP110 v4 are fully supported.
I now realize that there are two options:
1. Discard EAP110 v2 devices and replace them with EAP110 v4.
2. Downgrade to Omada Controller v3 ( which may result in losing control of TP-Link Gateway and switches which are also installed) .
Is there any other option ?
EAP110 v2 have not received any firmware update since 2018 . Maybe TP-Link Company has stopped supporting these devices ? Then why invest in TP-Link when their devices become unsupported in a few years ?
I wish somebody could help me.
Thanks a lot for reading.
