You can Forget the device.

Go to device, manage device and click Forget.

Does that actually allow for direct login with the device, or does that simply disconnect it from this Controller but not move it out of "Controller mode"?

A noob question.

I have just installed omada controller 5.0.15 and adopted two switches (TL-SG2428P 1.0), then decided to remove them. I selected Forget option.

Now, I'm unable to access my switches as none of the credentials I've tried work.

Also, IP addresses on both switches seems to have been set to: 192.168.0.1 ?

Is there any way to access them w/o doing a hard reset?

It appears Omeda controller has hijacked my switches, even bore adopting them and changed both to the same IP (???): 192.168.0.1.

I thought UniFi controller was bad....

I'll stick with CISCO for anything production.
