oc2oo/eap620: staff can see ssid, but have no access to internet.

Hi,

bought t2600g-28ts 4.0, oc200 and eap620. Unfortunately, Tp-link switch is not compatible with oc200/eap620 (thanks to the vendor !). Set up oc200 behind firewall and from different subnet is difficult.

Then, I decide to setup oc200/eap620 like this :

Router

Firewall (opnsense)

Port 3 (firewall) : Linksys (for something like IOT)

Port 2 (firewall):

Netgear POE GS308P

-> OC200

-> EAP620 (Power AC220V)

OC200 is related to EAP and I have full access to dashboard oc200/eap

From different Vlan, I have full access to dashboard oc 200/eap

(Note : I do not want a cloud access)

Port 3 has access to internet (no blocking firewall rule)

Dashboard shows :

wired network >LAN>192.168.0.1/ 24

no wan

Network analysis shows :

192.168.xx.100 (http, Omada Controller -Jetty 9.4.15v20190215)

192.168.xx.101 (probably eap ip address)

and a microsoft surface get the following ip : 192.168.xx.4

Perhaps, it's a ip misconfig?

Where can I configure the wan ip for oc200/eap620 ?

Where can I configure the dhcp server for the wifi connections ?

Thanks

Any assistance much appreciated!

UP

To me everything is correct but:

"wired network

LAN    Interface  192.168.0/24   "

????? (false subnet)

I can understand

"wired network

internet gateway required " because hardware is not compatible.

Any hints please

OC200 and EAP don't have WAN interface or DHCP Server. Both of them should get IP addresses from your firewall. You can check on Devices page if they obtain the correct IP addresses from your firewall. You can post your screenshot.

And then you can check if the devices that connect to EAP obtain correct IP addresses from your firewall as well.

And you can also delete your VLAN settings to test. Not sure if you set VLAN correctly.

@Somnus

First time, i use tp-link

I double check the firewall opnsense 21.1.8_1 Dec

Interface firewal opnsense : igb3 wifi

static ipv4 adress lets say 192.168.50.254

service

dhcpv4 : enable

subnet 192.168.50.0

DNS okip

 Enable Static ARP entries

Surface (w10) connected to wifi

dhcp automatique

192.168.50.4

DNS okip

Macbook connected to wifi

192.168.50.1

Firewall DHCPV4 Lease

mac/ip surface correct (active)

mac/ip mac correct (active)

mac/ip oc200 correct (static)

mac/ip eap 620 correct (static)

oc200/eap620

Controller Version:

4.3.5

Model:

OC200 1.0

Firmware Version:

1.8.0 Build 20210406 Rel.58757

test mail server correct (This is a message generated by Omada SDN Controller [OC200_58F9DB].

Getting this message means that your SMTP server settings are correct.)

At this time : no vlan. No mac filtering. Just a try.

First image : is this the problem ? (and how to correct?)

192.168.50.1 and 192.168.50.4 show download and upload traffic. So you have internet access now?

@Somnus no.

This afternoon I will test without oc200.

Other steps to do?
