TL-SG116E v1 - TxGoodPkt 0 - No Internet
Today I tried to connect a new PC to my SG116E switch and nothing happened. The PC was not receiving an IP address. I've confirmed that the PC ethernet port and and Cable are good.
The issue is that if I try to plug in any component into one of the unused ports on the switch, an IP address is not delivered to the end device. If I use one of the previously used ports (that is I swap out what was there with the new device) it works fine.
While trying to troubleshoot I noticed that the switch does indeed recognize the new device. Link Status shows 1000M Full and RxGoodPkt has a non-zero number, but TxGoodPkt shows 0.
I've re-set the switch back to factory, but the issue still remains. I've also turned off my firewall, disabled MTU VLAN and disabled IGMP Snooping.
Why would the switch not allow the IP address from the router to be transmitted to the PC?
Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
